Leon Bike's SUB frame is made of Cromoly steel for two reasons.

First is the environmental and engineering view - steel has a long service life and can be reused or recycled - also good for the environment.
The second is that while the popular choice of MTB frame material has rapidly changed from steel to aluminium, titanium and carbon, in the BMX world frames have successfully evolved in design while continuing to be made out of steel.
